"THE 3 GIANTS OF BOLIVIA" PROJECT
ACOTANGO - ILIMANI - SAJAMA
Welcome to this great journey through the Royal and Western mountain ranges!
Bolivia eIt's the ideal setting to conquer great heights and delve into the world of 8,000 meters, if that's the idea; this ambitious mountain project is a step towards that. equipo Espeletia Expedition has designed an itinerary of 12 days in both mountain ranges. El basic workshop on glacier techniques is fundamental to achieving the tres cimas sobre los 6.000, along with a prior acclimatization in the city of La Paz, Bolivia.

With the aim of strengthening knowledge for the successful development of the expedition and expanding their mountain experience, this workshop does not qualify the participant as a guide or independent mountaineer; we share basic tools to consolidate a good rope team.
To achieve this, the Espeletia Expedition team completed a 3-block program in Colombia, in order to solidify the final objective: Glacier workshop and training for the 3 six-thousanders in Bolivia
A 2-day workshop is required in Suesca, where we will learn basic techniques for rock climbing (position, fear management, mobility, knots, equipment and maneuvers used on glaciers)
Optional: training day (1 additional) to explore the hills around Suesca Cundinamarca located above 3000 meters above sea level.
Forecast date: March
Route to the Nevados Park, either to the summit of Nevado del Tolima in 3 days, or to explore the Nevados Park in 5 days (trekking) PHYSICAL CIRCUIT.
Forecast date: June.
As a final goal and group project, we will review the maneuvers and knots learned in Suesca, Cundinamarca, in order to prepare for the glacier workshop. We will also conduct simulations on the other proposed mountains, allowing the climbing team to apply their techniques in more realistic situations.
Participants must commit to specific weekly training sessions: cardiovascular, strength, endurance, and flexibility exercises. All training is geared towards alpine terrain, which is why we send personalized training proposals.
Please note: Participants must have rigid boots, a sleeping bag, and a sleeping pad. Basic technical equipment (crampons, harness, helmet, or ice axes) is not mandatory, as it is included in the price of this offer. Expedicionario si no cuentas con la indumentaria antes mencionada, reservar con anticipación en la tienda de montaña de la ciudad de la paz.
