Just as you have to take the first steps to climb a mountain, you also have to take the first steps to become a mountaineer and thus advance step by step with technique. The workshops designed by the Espeletia Expedition team will start you on the path of learning the techniques necessary for safety and correct mountain walking, so that you can advance safely and enjoy the route with preparation.
For international expeditions, we design a complete plan.
Specialized physical preparation to face the challenges of high-altitude mountaineering. Training focuses on functional strength, stability, mobility, endurance, and physical and mental control, developing the necessary skills to perform better on technical terrain, steep inclines, and at high altitudes.

It's used to test your body's capacity for prolonged exertion and determine how much elevation gain you can achieve while carrying weight. This will help you obtain a baseline assessment for mountain expeditions.

Why strengthen your skills in rugged terrain? This workshop introduces you to essential walking techniques, focusing on correct progression and risk management, allowing you to move forward with confidence and enjoy the journey with adequate preparation.
What will be the setting for this workshop? Colombia boasts numerous climbing parks thanks to its diverse geography. Suesca will be the site for the development of this activity; a climbing park pioneer in the country with the largest number of both traditional and sport routes.
The rock face is located at an altitude of 2,670 meters above sea level and is composed of sedimentary sandstone of good quality. Routes range from 10 meters to 160 meters (from 1 to 4 pitches), featuring overhangs, vertical slabs, cracks, chimneys, dihedrals, roofs, etc., making it the ideal setting for this workshop due to its unique and diverse climbing.
