Return Policies
The agency adheres to:
- Consumer Statute (Law 1480 of 2011).
- Current tourism regulations in Colombia.
- Regulations of National Natural Parks of Colombia.
- Contractual conditions accepted by the client at the time of booking.
For international travel, the policies of the operators and regulations of the destination country also apply.
General Booking Conditions
- All reservations are confirmed only with the agreed payment (advance or full payment).
- The client declares that they are aware of the risks inherent in mountain activities.
- The customer accepts these policies upon making the payment.
Cancellation Policies - Expeditions in Colombia
Cancellation by the customer without just cause:
- More than 45 days before the start:
- Refund of up to 80% of the value paid.
- Administrative expenses and services already contracted are deducted.
- Between 30 days before:
- Refund of up to 30% of the value paid.
- Between 7 and 14 days before or no presentation:
- Refund does not apply
National Park permits, insurance, logistical bookings, and guide fees may be non refundable.
Cancellation for medical reasons
- The client must present medical documentation.
- The case will be evaluated.
- Partial refund applies based on costs already incurred.
Cancellation Policies - International Expeditions
Special considerations: International travel is subject to:
- Local operator policies.
- Airlines.
- Insurance companies.
- Hotels and international transport.
Therefore: Many services are non refundable from the moment of booking.
Cancellation by the customer
- More than 90 days before:
- Partial refund according to third-party conditions.
- Between 46 and 60 days before:
- 20% refund of the booking value.
- Less than 45 days before or no submission:
- Refund does not apply.
Cancellation due to external causes in cases of:
- Immigration restrictions.
- Border closures.
- Social or climate conflicts.
The agency will arrange alternatives, but does not guarantee a full refund.
Modifications and Reprogramming
- Subject to availability.
- The date will only be rescheduled once.
- They may generate additional costs.
- They don't always replace a cancellation.
Non-refundable services
They include, but are not limited to:
- Natural park permits.
- Insurance.
- Administrative fees.
- Special reservations.
- Services already performed.
Return Method
- Refunds are issued via the same payment method.
- The estimated timeframe is 15 to 30 business days, according to financial institutions.
Customer Responsibility
- Arrive in adequate physical and medical condition.
- Have valid documentation.
- Follow instructions from guides and leaders.
Policy Acceptance
By making the payment, the customer declares:
- Having read and understood these policies.
- Accept them in their entirety
Mountain Piggy Bank Policies
- It is activated 6 months before the mountain season
- No refunds will be given for the money reserved, but the spot can be transferred or the date rescheduled.
- Dates are subject to availability.
- The date will only be rescheduled once. Additional costs may apply.
